I had not tried anything from this brand before, I knew of them from a collaboration they did with Alexa Chung a while back.  They are from England and the product is made in South Korea.  The packaging is in more of a cream product tube than the usual mascara packaging.

I needed a new mascara to wear on the days I don't wear falsies, I wanted to try a mascara by a brand I had not tried any products from.  I went to Mecca Maxima and saw the smaller size version of this mascara.  It was $23 AUD for 4ml or .13 fluid ounces.


I don't usually go for curling specific mascaras, I prefer volume and length more.   It has a curved brush with natural bristles with one side having more close together bristles and the other with more tightly packed ones.  On the back of the product it says this is a winning formula which has a triple layer gel coating to keep lashes colour and form from disappearing. It is to be removed with oil based removal products.

There is no real smell and it's most certainly a dry formula.  Almost too dry.  It does not layer well either as it starts to look "crunchy".  It's not super clumpy but it will clump if you try to build up on more than two layers.  I think it DID do a GOOD curling  job but I definitely won't re-purchase this again.  If the full size is over $40 like I am thinking than absolutely not.  This mascara is worth maybe $15 AUD in my honest opinion, Kevyn Aucoin 's The Curling Mascara is vastly better than this offering from Eyeko.

This mascara is waterproof absolutely; I even slept with it on and it stayed on resolutely, I don't really love how it looked on me. Its fine and average but not worth $23 to me and the full size at around $32 AUD seems a little over the top. One thing I want to say though as you can see in the photos my eyelashes are small to medium length so I usually focus on volume and length. If you have full, long lashes but want curl in them then this could be a dream mascara for you. 

That is the problem when doing product reviews because you must remember that everybody has different sizes, textures, length in their body that you would apply cosmetics and body products to.  So I like to state this in the case of this type of product. 

If you have long lashes with volume this could be a great mascara for you.  If you don't have those lashes then it might not be what you want.  It is Catch and CURL and that is what I am trying to remember here and put across. 

It does curl, it is waterproof but the dry, inability to layer, expensive price
