Hair trends are always changing, and we all have seen bayalage for the last couple of years and now we have "Layaging". 

Layaging, alternatively called "Hair Painting" is a lower maintenece and even more natural look than highlights and bayalage.  Your hair is taken and spread out on a flat surface in which your hair stylist then artfully applies subtle colour in a highly controlled manner by the stylist.

It is lower maintenance because the tones of colour chosen are painted through the mid-lengths of the hair you won't need to do retouching every couple of months because the colour is not applied to the top layers of hair near the roots nor the rest of the head at the roots.

A talented hair colourist/stylist can create a very natural look with varying tones and create a look that you will love.  If you don't like it after all it will far easier to grow out and remove rather than a solid colour or bleach etc.
