Chrisspy x MAC Star Trek Collection Celebrating 50 years


MAC is acknowledging pop culture favourite Star Trek which has captured sci-fi watchers for 50 years.  Chrisspy, a former MAC makeup artist and YouTube makeup blogger favourite with 1.5 million plus subscribers have paired up to showcase the products ability to transform your looks to those of an intergalactic goddess! Chrisspy takes on the looks of the famous females from the show using these products.  Four new shadows have been created  - the eyeshadow's have a pearl and shimmer infused look.  There is an olive green, a taupe which is beige actually, a cobalt blue and an orange red.  Two liquid liners feature one in black and one in a bright yellow pearl.  The packaging features definition its you products have the distinctive silver Star Trek design on them. Lastly is a two in one black mascara with options for defined or volumised lashes its your choice.

MAC Selena Collection


MAC celebrates Selena Quintanilla-Perez who was a wonderful singer, songwriter, actress, spokesperson and fashion designer who died tragically by a gunshot wound in 1995.  She has long been an icon for many and MAC is celebrating her with a collection world premiere in Corpus Christi Texas Friday September 30th 2016.
The collection has two red shades one darker and one lighter and a mid brown shade as well a mascara, black liquid eyeliner, blush, contour and highlight, four shadows and a powder/blush brush all housed in a pretty purple shade.

Black Rabbit Lipstick by Lipstick Queen


Black lipstick and other unusual colours are popular right now, more than they ever have been I think! This lipstick has gold flecks in it and can be worn alone or over another lipstick colour.  It comes paired with a pink sinner lipstick also by Lipstick Queen as a pair and from reviews I have read looks great! To me this lipstick is the fishnet stocking of the beauty world, when it comes to Australia I will definitely be snapping it up!

Hrush Achemyan is a makeup artist and instructor who found fame and followers online and is followed by many who are wanting to know her techniques and secrets.  It is no surprise that Tarte have partnered with her to create a custom curated makeup multi use palette.  It is limited edition and is housed in a fold-over palette style in a faux matte leather look with gold accents.  It contains six shadows and a large blush coral matte finish blush.  The shadows are varied enough to create various looks. I personally love the berry colour in this palette.
