This is the first solely vitamin c product I have bought from Glyco Skincare. Other products I have purchased contained vitamin c in their formula, but were not sole vitamin c products like this crême.

I purchased this creme in January 2019 and I use it everyday morning and night; it is now 12 May and it is still going! One thing I have noticed is that Glyco products are very long lasting which is great as they are a higher price point. I have had two products last over six months from the Glyco Skincare brand; one I am still using now and is one month shy of a year of using it. That product is AOX Peptide Cleansing Gel which is now called Peptide Cleansing Gel and you can read it here and the other was Cellular Defence Day Creme SPF 15+ which lasted approximately 9 months and you can read that review here.

This creme is 20% vitamin c and is contained in an airless pump jar to preserve the vitamin c's integrity, vitamin c is a highly unstable ingredient particularly when in the form of ascorbic acid. The crême is a pleasure to use, a very tactile experience. Its velvety soft and absorbs instantly, with a matte texture.

Vitamin C is an incredible antioxidant and I have to say Glyco has improved my skin yet again! I have noticed an even more refined complexion, my cheeks and under eye area looks fresher, brighter and rejuvenated. You are directed not to apply right under the eye, so I stay just above the nostril area and go no further but it seems that is enough to help my under-eyes!

Vitamin C assists skin in collagen production; as the body ages, collagen production slows down, and topical application of vitamin c is the best way to get it back into your body as it is absorbed far better than ingesting it. It is the skin's version of a new building's scaffolding, it holds up our muscles on our body, provides hydration, improves skin elasticity and improves fine lines and wrinkles. You can easily tell when collagen is lacking in the skin as it sags. I believe it has assisted my skin in this manner which couldn't please me more! This is another essential product for me from Glyco Skincare.

This cleanser made an immediate impression on me the first time I used it! Once you apply it to your face, the user is directed to leave it on the skin for ten seconds and then rinse off, I felt a smoothness and freshness as a layer of debris and skin were removed and it convinced me then and there this was going to be a great product.

As with all the products I have reviewed from Glyco Skincare; I have used them all since May 2018 and it is now the end of August 2018, the strong impression that this product was another winner from the get go, has been realised, long term.

This gel cleanser formulation contains chamomile as an active ingredient and it also gives the gel it's scent. It's a natural; not overtly fabricated scent and is equal parts unobtrusive and pleasant, especially if you are in a shower with the steam which amplifies the relaxing element chamomile is known for with a hint of ginger and grapefruit which provides you with a herbal spa like experience!

This cleanser will leave your face not just clean, but revitalised with the anti-oxidants and peptides contained within; it is a very enjoyable experience to add to your skincare regime! you can read about the individual ingredients below via the hyperlinks which are not affiliated with myself or the product in any way.

ASAP Skin Products is a new Australian skincare brand that also makes face base products. I was lucky to have entered a competition on Instagram and my friend and I both won a bottle each. I have been using it a lot when I go out during the day and I feel I am knowledgeable enough about the product to give it a thorough review.

This product includes pore refining technology which I believe is true to form. This is a sheer foundation more like a BB Cream. It comes in four shades Cool 1, Cool 2, Warm 3 and Warm 4 and
it works best with a primer I think, and I like to use radiant primers with it as they work well and look good. I have tried to build it up to see if it could be medium coverage but it doesn't really do that.

Personally, I like this product because I like BB Cream formulations. Its easy to put on if in a hurry purely because of its sheer pigmentation you can't make too many errors unlike a medium to full coverage foundation which requires more finesse.

My main issues would be the SPF rating of only 15. Ideally, it should be 30plus or more. I cannot rely on SPF 15 so I wear Banana Boat Sensitive 50plus suncream underneath. The product gives a good uniform look to the face and I do not notice any pores being highlighted by it either. It contains skincare in the form of antioxidants and tissue repairing ingredients. It is also recommended for all skin types.

It comes in a black matte pump bottle with a little window in the side where you can see the product colour. It does work well with other face products as well like powder and concealers. The makeup portion of the brand includes other items such as eyeshadow, lipstick, lip liners, makeup brushes, eye liner pencils, mascara, two bronzers one warm and one cool, mineral foundation powder base and mineral powder foundations in the four tones. It is a limited shade range but as a very new company I imagine they would increase shade ranges available in the future. There is a CC Cream available with Vitamin C in its ingredients that provides a light tint for all skin types. I am definitely interested in trying their skincare products as they have a good variety of serums that I am always interested in.

I recommend this product as long as you are aware that it is more of a BB Cream then a foundation. It has replaced my beloved Revlon Photoready BB Cream that has been discontinued.
