Of course it makes sense to test out the night time version of the Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Moisturiser which also contains a retinol preparation that purports to work in a week.  I previously used the Neutrogena Ageless Intensives anti ageing night cream .

The daytime version shares many of the same ingredients as the night, namely missing is the sun protection ingredients. It is a similar consistency to the day time except it is thinner in consistency and a little bit spreads a long way on the face. This product has the same opaque pump bottle as the daytime version which is great for keeping the active ingredients viable and fuss free to use.  The fragrance is different to the daytime formula as the daytime one has a familiar suncream scent.  Its a non-descript scent but it's there.  Not awful smelling but I would have loved it if it were fragrance free.  This product contains as well as the daytime version contain the hydrating queen Sodium Hyaluronate which provides much needed moisture to skin and well hydrated skin can make you look younger. 

To enable the quick results Neutrogena have their own special formula for the retinol ingredient the website says the following - in my own words:

The formula is constructed as such to allow greater penetration into the skin for the retinol to be able to work.  I have to say it does work for me.  It is a shame that it is not cruelty free and fragrance free. It does contain some ingredients that may cause irritation such as the fragrance BHT.  If you have a sensitivity to products with fragrance or any of the ingredients listed below it is best to avoid this product. 

I do recommend it as it does work for me - it plumps my skin, keeps my skin thoroughly moisturised and soft into the next day and has changed an area of concern on my skin to a non-issue, but if you are sensitive to fragrance and/or don't want to use products tested on animals then I do not.
