This is the first solely vitamin c product I have bought from Glyco Skincare.  Other products I have purchased contained vitamin c in their formula, but were not sole vitamin c products like this crême.

I purchased this creme in January 2019 and I use it everyday morning and night; it is now 12 May and it is still going!  One thing I have noticed is that Glyco products are very long lasting which is great as they are a higher price point.  I have had two products last over six months from the Glyco Skincare brand; one I am still using now and is one month shy of a year of using it.  That product is AOX Peptide Cleansing Gel which is now called Peptide Cleansing Gel and you can read it here and the other was Cellular Defence Day Creme SPF 15+ which lasted approximately 9 months and you can read that review here.

This creme is 20% vitamin c and is contained in an airless pump jar to preserve the vitamin c's integrity, vitamin c is a highly unstable ingredient particularly when in the form of ascorbic acid.   The crême is a pleasure to use, a very tactile experience.  Its velvety soft and absorbs instantly, with a matte texture.

Vitamin C is an incredible antioxidant and I have to say Glyco has improved my skin yet again! I have noticed an even more refined complexion, my cheeks and under eye area looks fresher, brighter and rejuvenated.  You are directed not to apply right under the eye, so I stay just above the nostril area and go no further but it seems that is enough to help my under-eyes!

Vitamin C assists skin in collagen production; as the body ages, collagen production slows down, and topical application of vitamin c is the best way to get it back into your body as it is absorbed far better than ingesting it.  It is the skin's version of a new building's scaffolding, it holds up our muscles on our body, provides hydration, improves skin elasticity and improves fine lines and wrinkles. You can easily tell when collagen is lacking in the skin as it sags. I believe it has assisted my skin in this manner which couldn't please me more! This is another essential product for me from Glyco Skincare.

I was looking for a cheaper, cruelty free eyeshadow primer to replace my Too Faced Shadow Insurance as its good but heavily over priced I believe.

I bought this one from Beautybay and I was so happy with the results! It's in a squeeze tube and is a very light beige shade that disappears once on the eyelid.

This primer is great! I have worn it in hour long aerobics sessions, hot summer days and my eye makeup has stayed put.

I definitely recommend this cheap and cheerful hardwearing eye primer!

This mascara is very cheap and had good reviews; I was specifically looking for a cruelty free and inexpensive mascara.  Wet 'n' Wild is not sold in department stores in Australia so I purchased it from Beautybay, unfortunately its not that great and I 'll tell you why below.  I have been using it for nearly two months and I feel I know how it performs for me very well now.

The brush is slim as the name suggests and the brush is a natural bristle.  It's a dry formula and it is not very volumising, lengthening, curling; it can be quite defining and if you have very thick natural lashes this might be interesting in terms of defining your lashes more; but overall it is very underwhelming as any definition or lift you do get will drop out quite quickly, but to be fair it does not claim to be anything other than a slim brush head mascara not a volumising, lengthening etc mascara. 

What it doesn't do that is good is that it doesn't flake or transfer and you can layer a fair bit as it doesn't clump really.

Overall I would not recommend this product.

Wet 'n' Wild

I had been dying to buy this product for the longest time and I finally did it! And I love it!  My only criticism is that its so small! It changes any eyeshadow or powder product into a waterproof liquid eyeliner and it damn well works! Its expensive for such a small bottle but Inglot's Duraline is even more expensive!

I don't use it every single time I put makeup on but on the days I can wear colourful eyeliner I do and its the best.  It is fast drying as well and you need to squeeze the little bottle for product to come out but be careful not to squeeze too hard.


The product stiffens the brush but it washes out easily enough with a bit of soap and water in a few minutes and doesn't stain the brush hairs.

I definitely recommend this product!

This product is for removing makeup and eye makeup. It's in a 200 ml bottle and the lotion itself is opaque white and I find it unpleasant on the face.  On the eyes it is not so bad.  It is great at removing eyeshadow and eyebrow pencils but leaves residue from mascara and any black eyeliner products, in which I need to get another product to remove it, usually the Sante Microfibre Disc.

The bottle it comes in is not a pump so you have to try and squeeze it out of the bottle through a little hole and you invariably squeeze out too much and waste extra product.  I think this product has potential to be a lot better through a packaging change and work on the residue issue in the eye and the texture of the product overall and how it feels on skin.

A positive aspect was that it did not upset my eyes or make them feel really uncomfortable.


I do not recommend this unless you wear very light eye makeup.

This is a moisturiser that helps to protect the skin barrier and for skin that is dry, suffers from some redness, sensitivity, that feels uncomfortable and not supple.  I found it useful as I get bad heat rash on my face and neck in summer months and it helped to calm it down and hydrate the skin which was dry and rough.  I now use it to seal in the rest of my skincare before I apply sunscreen during the day and as an added bonus moisture layer after my night time skin routine.

It contains Niacinamide, Squalane, Shea Butter and Glycerin all excellent skin barrier boosting ingredients.

It feels very nice and envelopes my skin in a very comforting manner.  I love it! I wish it came in a larger size with a longer expiry then six months.

I definitely recommend this product.

I really hoped this would be a super cheap, super brilliant brow product but alas it is not.


The shade is too blonde, it needs to be a tad more taupe to be a feasible colour to wear. The product itself is too soft, soft like velvet unfortunately, perhaps the hint was in the name....!

If it was a little more waxy like the NYX Jumbo Pencil it would have been better but it's just too soft. Unless you have fabulous brows and need a tiny little something and your brows are pure white as well then this shade in particular will not help you.

A miss this one is, I can't think of any alternative use for this product either.
